Keep Knocking

Luke 11:9 tells us that there is great reward when we are persistant in our prayer's. The scripture likens our prayers to a persistant person knocking on the door of his neighbor. This person will not leave untill their friend opens the door. Well, a few weeks, someone was knocking on my homes door at about 10:30pm, and just would not leave untill, someone opened the door. The only problem was that I wasnt home at the time, so of course this left my wife and kids a little scared. I rolled into the driveway just in time to meet this man and let him know that he was in the wrong place; still I was facinated with this mans persistance in continuously knocking and ringing the doorbell. Scripture tells us that we should be as persistant in our prayers. I encourage you to keep on knocking on the door of the Lord, and not only will he open the door, but you will have fellowship with the God of the universe.
